AGL is seeking a highly skilled Strategy & Reporting Analyst to join our Strategy & Reporting team in Melbourne. As a key member of our Energy Hubs – Analysis unit, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our ambitious renewable energy projects, aiming to deliver 5GW by 2030 and 12GW by 2035 of new capacity.
As a Strategy & Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for providing monthly portfolio reports, spanning concept, development, and delivery. Your work will enable senior leaders to make informed and strategic decisions, directly driving the realization of AGL's portfolio transition and ensuring the success of key projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of Energy Hubs strategy, strategy planning, and implementation.
- Collaborate with Project Developers, Project Managers, Project Controls, and Project Analysis teams to deliver monthly project updates and pipeline performance data.
- Ensure accurate and consistent data capture, enabling better decision-making for senior leaders within AGL.
- Effectively communicate portfolio and project-level progress using PowerPoint and Power BI dashboards.
- Engage key internal stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for improvement within AGL's reporting platform.
- Support senior internal stakeholders to deliver inputs for Enterprise and Business Unit reporting.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, implementation, and reporting.
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and work collaboratively across a range of functions and stakeholders.
- Understanding of energy markets and energy project development (strongly preferred).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Finance, Law, Economics, or relevant tertiary qualification, with a keen interest in the energy transition.
