About the Role:

AusNet Services is seeking a highly skilled Energy Transition Strategist to join our Strategy team in AusNet Transmission. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our grid and our position within the energy transition in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and development of our Transmission business
  • Provide high-quality insights, analysis, and recommendations to inform the direction of the Transmission Line of Business and AusNet's strategy
  • Support the business with strategic deep dives, simplifying complex topics, problem-solving, and prioritization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and implement best practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in strategy development and implementation, with a focus on the energy sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate at an executive level
  • Commercial acumen and an ability to understand and apply business decision tools
