Job Title: Data Scientist - Energy Transition Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data science-based products to deliver Shell Energy's strategy and objectives.
  • Partner with internal departments to work on a broad range of problems, including customer segmentation, customer churn prediction, load behavior analysis, and energy optimization.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience in data science, including data extraction, acquisition, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python and data science-related libraries, such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, and Plotly.
  • Knowledge of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, machine learning approaches, clustering, classification, and regression techniques.
  • Experience working with large data sets in SQL and Python to produce meaningful insights and recommendations.
