Job Title: Specimen Reception Team Leader

About the Role:

This position oversees daily operations of a central specimen reception area, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of incoming pathology specimens.

  • Supervise staff and ensure high standards of service delivery and compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Be responsible for the quality and timeliness of specimen reception processes.
  • Ensure staffing levels are sufficient for workflow demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all aspects of work and activities of CSR staff.
  • Report any problems to the Regional Laboratory Manager.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you'll bring relevant experience in pathology, supervisory skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

You will have a professional approach to enhancing patient care and provision of pathology services. Prioritization and coping with stressful situations are also essential.
