About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ability Action Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Allied Health support to our NDIS participants in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload and provide therapeutic services to participants
  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each participant's needs
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support
  • Recommend Assistive Technology to promote independence and reduce functional limitations
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation and ensure compliance
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
