Job Title: Front Office Team Leader
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Team Leader to join our team. As a Front Office Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the Front Office team and ensuring that all activities related to reception, reservations, telephone services, checking guests in/out, rooming of all guests, cashiering and auditing are carried out efficiently and effectively.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to take on a leadership role within our Front Office team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hotel management and/or business administration, excellent communication skills, bilingual or multilingual language skills, flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts, a valid NSW RSA Competency card, and the ability to inspire passion, enthusiasm and positivity in the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Front Office team to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Ensure that all Front Office activities are carried out efficiently and effectively, including reception, reservations, telephone services, checking guests in/out, rooming of all guests, cashiering and auditing.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest registration, room assignments, and financial transactions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase revenue, and reduce costs.
- Foster a positive and productive team culture, promoting collaboration, open communication, and a shared sense of purpose.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 6 months experience in a Front Office/Reception role, with a proven track record of success in a similar leadership position.
- Qualifications in Hotel Management and/or Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, guests, and other stakeholders.
- Bilingual or multilingual language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts, as required.
- A valid NSW RSA Competency card.
- The ability to inspire passion, enthusiasm and positivity in the team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
