MTC Recruitment is seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters for opportunities in Sydney. If you have relevant trade qualifications, experience working with mechanical systems, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair equipment to ensure efficient operation
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, wiring, and controls
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability

Requirements:

  • Relevant Trade Qualifications – Mechanical Fitter
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing environment such as FMCG, Manufacturing or Rail
  • Solid technical skills in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems.
  • Experienced with preventive maintenance
  • Current Restricted Electrical License - Disconnect / Reconnect (An advantage)

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

We estimate that this position will be paid approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
