About the Role: As a Counsellor with Talent Quarter PTY Ltd, you will play a vital role in delivering essential mental health support services to individuals and families across diverse settings in the Northern Territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including family therapy, individual, and group counselling, to children, young people, and adults.
  • Collaborate with various programs to ensure comprehensive support for families, addressing emotional, social, and economic challenges related to family disruptions.
  • Offer guidance, support, and referrals to families, promoting healthy relationships and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or associate diploma in counselling, social work, or psychology, with substantial experience in the field.
  • Proven experience working with children, young people, adults, and families, with a focus on delivering culturally sensitive services.
  • Professional registration with AASW, PACFA, or ACA, or eligibility to obtain such membership.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence, particularly in working with Indigenous communities.
  • Australian citizenship or unrestricted working rights.
  • Valid police check conducted within the last 12 months.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Valid driver's license.
