Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team, providing mental health services to military members in a health center setting.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting the diverse mental health needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide initial intake and assessment services to clients, with flexibility to accommodate presenting needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that capitalize on your skills, interests, and scope of practice.
  • Manage your caseload, including oversight and case management of externally referred cases and the provision of internal treatment to Defense members.
  • Contribute to the management of crisis presentations, risk assessment, and risk management planning within a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in the last 5 years in mental health in a primary health or specialist mental health setting, undertaking comprehensive mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidence-based 'Focused Psychological Strategies' as defined under the Medicare Schedule.
