Key Responsibilities:
Merchant Onboarding:
- Negotiate and establish beneficial arrangements with local merchants near Tiny Away properties.
- Ensure merchants understand and can communicate Tiny Away's value proposition to potential customers.
Partnership Development:
- Identify and approach potential partners, including event management companies and local travel agencies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners.
- Create and implement partnership strategies to drive customer referrals and increase occupancy rates.
Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all merchant and partnership relationships.
- Regularly engage with merchants and partners to ensure satisfaction and explore new opportunities.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to merchants and partners to maximize the benefits of the collaboration.
Event Participation:
- Represent Tiny Away at relevant industry events and trade shows.
- Network with potential partners and merchants to promote Tiny Away and its offerings.
- Organize and attend events that could increase brand awareness and drive occupancy rates.
Ad Hoc Duties:
- Assist with other tasks and projects as needed to support the growth and success of Tiny Away.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in merchant onboarding, partnership development, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry, particularly in Victoria and Queensland, is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with merchants and partners.
