About the Role:
MUFG Securities Asia Limited Australia is seeking a highly skilled Loan Sales Associate to join our Debt Capital Markets team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the distribution function for syndicated loans, both primary and secondary transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the primary distribution function, including forming liquidity analysis for prospective transactions and associated pitch books.
- Prepare and write underwriting papers and support memoranda.
- Prepare various syndication materials, such as invitation letters, commitment letters, syndication strategies, and debt domain documents.
- Sound and physical bookrunning of investors throughout the syndication/sell-down process.
- Assist with transaction execution from mandate phase to financial close.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors and clients.
- Provide loan market intelligence to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain investor and pricing databases.
- Complete business reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a Syndications, Debt Capital Markets, or Coverage role at an Australian major or a large financial institution operating in an international context.
- Degree-level education from a leading university.
- Detailed knowledge of global capital markets products and investors.
