Main Purpose of the Role

The Associate, Loan Syndicate and Sales provides critical support to the broader team, focusing on the distribution function for syndicated loans in primary and secondary transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the primary distribution function, including forming liquidity analysis, preparing underwriting papers, and creating syndication materials.
  • Engage with investors, including sounding and physical bookrunning, and assist with transaction execution from mandate phase to financial close.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Oceania-based investors and provide loan market intelligence to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain investor and pricing databases and complete necessary business reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a Syndications, Debt Capital Markets, or Coverage role at an Australian Major or a large financial institution operating in an international context.
  • Degree-level education, preferably from a leading university, and advanced knowledge of global capital markets products and investors.
