We are seeking a Safety Champion to play a key role in driving health, safety, and process safety initiatives across our operations. This hands-on and mobile position involves regular site visits, building strong connections with frontline teams and leadership alike, and driving continuous improvement through visibility, support, and action.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Crafting and implementing engaging toolboxes, risk management strategies, incident investigation procedures, and H&S management system compliance.
  • Supporting teams to assess risks, complete assurance audits, and enhance safety outcomes.
  • Guiding and coaching investigations to identify root cause and help sites implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to effectively partner to deliver key changes or requirements.
  • Fostering a strong safety culture across site operations through the application of HSE Behaviours and the establishment of a learning culture.

Requirements:
  • A Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (WHS).
  • Experience in HSE within heavy industry or high-risk operational environments.
  • A solid understanding of land transport safety – ideally with hands-on exposure.
  • Knowledge of permit-to-work systems.
  • The ability to influence and drive change through H&S initiatives and programs.
