$80-$100 per hour (dependent on experience)

Job Description

As a Community Nurse with Medibank, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously with patients in their homes, providing care and service that is tailored to their individual needs. You will be responsible for conducting health assessments, managing chronic wounds, administering medication, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the community, delivering a broad range of nursing care and interventions. They will be comfortable working independently and possess a patient-centered approach.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Working with children check/DCSI or equivalent
  • Current drivers' licence & reliable vehicle
  • 2 Years' recent acute experience & ability to spot client deterioration
  • Experience in PICC care/dressing/removal
  • Chronic wound care experience is a bonus as well as cannulation skills
  • Competent IT skills/literacy
