**Job Title:** Building & Facility Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building and Facility Manager to join our team. As a key member of our custom-facility-management team, you will be responsible for providing proactive facility and building management services to our strata community.

  • Daily onsite monitoring of common property
  • Remote monitoring of key infrastructure
  • Alternate point of contact for building maintenance
  • Monitoring and coordinating trades persons and inspection logs
  • Work Order and Invoice processing
  • Lift Management (bookings / removalists)
  • Concierge services and onsite assistance to owners
  • Advising the Strata Manager of any hazardous conditions and compliance requirements for areas of common property
  • Establishment of pro-active maintenance strategies
  • Problem solving
  • Management of access control system and CCTV
  • WHS Compliance
  • Some minor handyman, painting and repair type activities
  • Providing supervision, support and assistance to any Caretaking or Cleaning Staff appointed to the property
  • Providing backup and relief during staff absences and leave
  • After Hours and Emergency contact

  • Assisting with the management of building contracts, service providers and essential services
  • Report preparation and attendance to Council of Owners Meetings
  • Input in relation to budget planning, financial forecasting and reporting
  • Input in relation to methods to improve efficiencies and operational matters
  • Develop and implement general policies and procedures to enhance services to occupiers

The ideal candidate will have at least 24 months demonstrated experience in a similar role, a building, trade or technical background is highly regarded. They must be energetic, dynamic, enthusiastic and client-focused, well-presented with strong communication and organisational skills. An ability to work independently and maintain a high attention to detail is also required.

  • Well-presented with strong communication and organisational skills
  • An ability to work independently and maintain a high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Outlook
  • A general understanding of the Strata Titles Act is desirable
  • A current Driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Police Clearances
  • Relevant Certificates and Tickets

This full-time position is available now, with a commencement date as soon as possible. Final remuneration will be negotiated based on the successful candidate's experience and skillset.
