About this role
We're seeking a seasoned professional to join our retail optimisation team as a workforce planning capability manager. In this role, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to uphold country-specific workforce priorities and drive impactful optimisation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and operationalising consistent systems and processes to support business strategy and customer experience.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to align and support workforce optimisation objectives based on country priorities.
- Identifying and capitalising on opportunities for optimisation, leading to tangible improvements.
- Using insight and data to take ownership of strategic planning, encompassing scheduling operations and ensuring scheduling compliance in all regions.
- Ensuring the configuration of systems and rules meets operational requirements effectively.
- Working in tandem with the people and performance team to provide technical and behavioural training, empowering users with ongoing system proficiency.
- Monitoring and assessing system performance metrics, generating insights for key stakeholders.
- Analysing compliance data, extracting valuable insights and proposing recommendations.
- Coaching stakeholders in adopting new behaviours and practices aligned with workforce management frameworks.
Required skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A proven track record in workforce optimisation and strategic planning, ideally in retail.
- A deep understanding of business operations and financial dynamics, enabling you to make decisions that align with commercial objectives.
- Proficiency in crafting and executing effective strategies to drive organisational growth and success with proven experience influencing key stakeholders.
- The ability to identify challenges, analyse root causes, and develop innovative solutions.
- The ability to make well-considered decisions by weighing various factors and potential outcomes.
- An open mindset that embraces creativity and encourages the exploration of new ideas and approaches.
- A collaborative nature that allows you to effectively work with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
