
Speech Pathology Specialist

The position of a Speech Pathology Specialist requires the provision of evidence-based assessments and therapy to a paediatric caseload, focusing on direct, family based and community-based support for individuals with developmental delays and/or disabilities.
Main responsibilities involve conducting assessment and intervention sessions with a diverse caseload in terms of both age and modality of intervention, working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver quality, evidence-based outcomes.
Ongoing evaluation, training and review are essential to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients is maintained.

- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders by providing information, education and support
- Ongoing evaluation, training and review to guarantee the delivery of excellent services to clients
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology, including SPA Registration
- A genuine passion for working with individuals who have disabilities, striving to help each client achieve their own goals, potential and participate in their community in a meaningful way
- Exceptional communication skills allowing effective collaboration in a culturally rich and diverse environment
- Effective time management and attention to detail
- A commitment to making a positive impact, with a focus on delivering engaging and meaningful therapy for clients and families
