Senior Quarry Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Quarry Manager to lead our team at Axedale Hard Rock Quarry. Reporting to the Area Manager, this role is a multi-faceted position that involves leading the quarry and overseeing the daily management of the operation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing people while bringing your team along the journey to successfully achieve goals.
- Making business decisions that impact the overall performance of the operation, including achieving agreed targets/KPIs, financial planning, budgeting and managing costs within budget.
- Managing the day-to-day operations where you are responsible for quarry development, storm water and environmental management, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Focused on continuing our approach to rehabilitation and maintaining our reputation within the industry and community as a responsible and sustainable partner.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in quarry management/supervision with relevant industry qualifications.
- Leadership experience with a strong leadership mentality.
- An ability to support continuous improvement across the supply chain process.
- A safety mindset with a total commitment to risk management and Zero Harm.
