A reputable construction materials provider seeks a senior quarry professional to lead site operations at a 24/7 facility.

Main Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance: Prioritize employee safety, ensure adherence to environmental regulations, and maintain relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Operational Oversight: Supervise daily activities, provide expert guidance, and develop annual operational plans.
  • Talent and Stakeholder Management: Lead a team of 50 personnel, build relationships with customers, suppliers, and community groups.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the quarry development strategy, manage budget allocation, and control expenditures.
About the Ideal Candidate

We seek an individual with a minimum of eight years of experience in quarry management or operations, including supervisory or management experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A current driver's license.
  • A tertiary qualification in mining, civil engineering, or geology (desired but not required).
  • A state-applicable quarry manager license.
  • A thorough understanding of occupational health and safety statutory legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
