Job Title: Quarry Operations Manager

A leading supplier is seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee the daily operations of one of its quarries in Melbourne West.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Quarry Manager in maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures and standards across site.
  • Implement effective planned maintenance schedules for plant & equipment.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining required environmental & safety standards.
  • Maintain the Quarry's quality system, ensuring compliance with, and communication of all health, safety, and environment requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in supervisory positions.
  • Experience in a supervisory position in a manufacturing, mining or production environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to learn basic weighbridge operations.
  • Any relevant tickets including front-end loader, excavator and/or dump truck experience or tickets will be looked upon favourably.
