Job Title: Senior Quarry Operations Manager
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced and skilled quarry operations manager to join our team. As a senior quarry operations manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our quarry site, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate quarry operations to meet production targets and quality standards
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of plant equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, and maintain a safe working environment for all employees
- Monitor and control costs associated with quarry operations, including materials, labor, and energy
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in quarry operations management, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of quarry operations, including crushing, screening, and conveying
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
- A certificate IV in Surface Extraction Operations or equivalent qualification
