About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Quarry Supervisor to join our team in Neerim North, Victoria.
This key role involves overseeing safe and efficient quarry operations, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and site-specific management plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to meet production targets and enhance overall performance
- Maintain quality control standards in accordance with client requirements and site-specific management plans
- Ensure effective environmental management and conformance to legislative requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the quarry operations
- Coordinate truck drivers and product deliveries, as well as associated tasks
- Plan and develop ongoing quarry production plans, conducting risk assessments and hazard identification as needed
Requirements:
- Possess strong leadership and management skills, with ability to work under instructions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with current driver's license (HR or HC preferable)
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in continuous improvement strategies, with experience working with fixed and mobile crushing plants, earthmoving, and quarry machinery
- Able to manage production costs and prioritize employee well-being
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for teamwork, with variety of plant experience including front end loader and excavator
