Job Opportunity:

Make-A-Wish is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our Partnerships Team.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, creating unique propositions for prospective partners.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and deliver the new business corporate strategy and pipeline by qualifying and pursuing potential partnerships in line with organisational goals.
  • Develop proposals, deliver pitches, and oversee partnership agreements that drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Conduct systematic industry research to identify alignment opportunities and prepare research briefs that inform business development strategies.
  • Work closely with the Group Head of Partners, New Business Partnership Manager, and wider business partnerships team to set priorities and maximise market potential and relationships.
  • Manage the prospect pipeline to ensure effective relationship-building and continuous growth.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to create complex pitches and present at an executive level.
  • Confidence in providing an outstanding experience to our partners, ensuring ongoing relationships.
  • Experience in B2B marketing/sales and strategy development.
  • Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of the private sector in Australia.
