Job Overview:

We seek an experienced Sales Team Leader to manage our small but busy phone-based sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effectively managing incoming leads, providing solutions, and ensuring timely admissions at our Residential Aged Care Homes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding activity efficiency, ensuring new clients have all required information captured to meet standards, and that Residential Homes have the necessary information to welcome new residents.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Leading, inspiring, and developing the team to proactively manage the sales pipeline and deliver high-quality sales opportunities to sales consultants, while ensuring customers are prepared and informed.
  2. Managing staff and creating a positive culture that drives results.
  3. Monitoring and delegating to achieve daily and weekly targets, identifying skills and knowledge gaps, and bridging them through coaching and structured team training.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in managing staff and creating a positive culture.
  • Team management of high-volume work with a focus on motivating the team to strive for KPIs and targets.
  • Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and business requirements.
  • Understanding of Residential Aged Care and aged care standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to actively listen and draw information out of clients to understand their needs.
  • Ability to identify skills and knowledge gaps and bridge them through coaching and structured team training.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with competing priorities.
  • An understanding of the importance of our referrers and their impact on our business.
  • Willingness to obtain a Police check.
