Job Title: Clinic Support Officer

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail. As the first point of contact for patients, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Main Responsibilities:

  • Answer and redirect phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner

  • Book and confirm appointments, entering new client details into the computer software

  • Maintain the efficient functioning of the office location, including security and building maintenance

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, filing, scanning, and documentation tasks

  • Meet and greet patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service

  • Assist with administrative functions for meetings and events, including catering

  • Ensure adequate supplies of consumables, such as stationery, printer, and kitchen supplies

  • Maintain and update patient files, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Essential Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license

  • Full vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses)

  • A current Working with Children's Check

  • A current Police Check

  • Satisfactory pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
