Job Title: NOC Network Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled NOC Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our network operations group, you will play a critical role in ensuring high network availability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage network incidents and faults, escalating as required.
  • Use tools such as SAP, EMC Smarts, and NMS applications for incident resolution and reporting.
  • Collaborate with field technicians and other stakeholders to maintain high network availability.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and continuous service improvement.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and client focus.
  • Conduct routine system health checks and manage maintenance activities.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in cellular network NOC and customer support (GSM 2G preferred).
  • Proficient with Huawei & Nokia RAN, core and transmission equipment in 2G/4G/5G cellular networks.
  • Proficient with network logfile, call trace and events analysis.
  • Understanding of GSM-R rail telecommunications, cyber security, and virtualized network solutions.
