Project Manager Job Opportunity

KBR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects and oversee site operations in Alice Springs, Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience managing large-scale facilities and logistics projects. They will be responsible for directing project planning, safety, cost control, and scheduling activities, as well as interpreting drawings and implementing specifications.

The successful candidate will also possess excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise a team of specialists and coordinate with mission operations.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, with the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards.

The Project Manager will work closely with diverse teams, responding to questions and solving operational issues.

About the Job
  • Direct project construction planning, safety, cost control, and scheduling activities

Requirements
  • A degree in Project Management, Civil, Construction, or Architecture from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience with construction/facility projects of similar scope, size and complexity
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Senior/Chief Project Manager responsible for supervising project managers, engineers and sub-contractors
  • Professional certification/registration
  • Demonstrated experience working in 24x7x365 operational environments requiring close coordination with mission operations
