Project Construction Lead

Lead construction projects and teams to recapitalize, complete major repairs, new construction, and augment the existing infrastructure in addition to operations and maintenance (O&M) of government customer sites.

Manage a team of specialists focusing on operational effectiveness, maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical acumen, an eye for detail, and ability to make decisions and adhere to deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct facilities' construction and maintenance at each site including job site document control and distribution of drawings, specifications, and all other technical documents.
  • Direct project construction planning, safety, cost control, and scheduling activities.
  • Interpret drawings and implement specifications for job site queries.
  • Resolve job site technical issues encountered during execution of construction projects.
  • Formulate and enforce operational and construction standards that support company objectives, contractual requirements and comply with regulatory and environmental standards.
  • Hire, train, and lead a competent workforce to be versatile and technically savvy.
  • Keep a close watch on contractual obligations and stay informed of any regulatory changes that impact facility operations.
  • Orchestrate activities to align with contract requirements and ensure smooth site operations.
  • Provide technical support to site operations guaranteeing continuity of critical infrastructure operations with commitment to reliability for around-the-clock mission support.

Requirements:

  • Possess active TS/SCI clearance or Host Nation TS/PV clearance.
  • A degree in Project Management, Civil, Construction, or Architecture from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with construction/facility projects of similar scope, size, and complexity.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as Senior/Chief Project Manager responsible for supervising project managers, engineers, and sub-contractors.
