Survivor Advocate Role

This role plays a crucial part in delivering family safety initiatives that provide additional supports outside of day-to-day specialist case management functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver Flexible Support Packages to assist victim-survivors transition from crisis and establish long-term, sustainable arrangements.
- Implement the Personal Safety Initiative to increase safety and feelings of safety for victim survivors, deter breaches of Family Violence Intervention Orders, and facilitate evidence collection.
- Process donations received by Centre Against Violence.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or a related social science discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in providing specialist family violence services, including assessment of risk and technical knowledge in practice responses.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, client engagement, conflict resolution, and advocacy skills.
- Working with Children's Check and National Police Check.
