As a mental health specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering supportive services to students.
This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of students while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Deliver engaging workshops on topics such as stress management, mindfulness, and time management.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to provide comprehensive support services to students.
Provide responsive and outcome-focused mental health support to students through both face-to-face and online consultations.
Play a key role in helping students navigate personal, emotional, and educational challenges.
Collaborate with staff on student-related matters and provide expert guidance.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance student well-being and academic success.
- Lead initiatives to promote child safety and act as a key contact officer for child safety compliance.
Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
Eligibility for membership with professional bodies such as AASW, APS, or ACWA.
Proven experience in short-term counselling and crisis response.
- Strong communication skills and a calm, empathetic approach.
- A deep understanding of Child Safe Standards, Mandatory Reporting, and Duty of Care.
