Small Business Accountant Role

This role is perfect for someone with at least 3 years public practice experience who feels ready to work directly with clients, and grow into a management position.

You'll be supported by a collaborative team, mentored by a senior manager, and encouraged to share ideas that help us improve.

  • Working directly with a mix of individual and small business clients
  • Reviewing and finalising work prepared by other team members for all entity types
  • Taking ownership of your own client list and building strong ongoing relationships
  • Having tax planning, compliance, and strategy conversations
  • Meeting deadlines while maintaining high quality and client satisfaction
  • Actively participating in team discussions and contributing to improvements
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Relationships: You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  2. Financial Management: You will review and finalise financial data for various clients, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  3. Business Development: You will identify opportunities to expand our services and develop new business relationships.
  4. Team Collaboration: You will work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals and support colleagues in their roles.
