
Marine Activities Manager

Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager of Marine and Activities to join the team at Lizard Island Resort. The role ensures the safe and efficient operation of all land and water-based activities while overseeing and coordinating tourism activities.

Responsibilities- Assist with guest activity bookings, daily logistics, and smooth coordination of arrivals, departures, and scheduled experiences
- Monitor guest feedback and address service gaps or concerns, escalating issues to management when required
- Support rostering, staff allocation, and recruitment efforts, including training and performance feedback for team members
- Maintain inventory systems and ensure tools and equipment are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations
- Provide administrative support for projects, uphold OH&S practices, and ensure adherence to company policies and financial accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality, marine science, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, managing activities in a hospitality or tourism setting
- Strong leadership skills and knowledge of marine and tourism activities, including safety regulations and protocols
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service
- Certification in relevant marine and tourism activities, such as PADI Dive Master or Instructor, Coxswain Grade 1 or higher, First Aid and CPR, Manual Driver's Licence, and other relevant certifications
