This job posting is for a high-profile opportunity to lead marine and tourism activities at a stunning resort on the Great Barrier Reef.

About the Role
  • As an experienced Activities Manager, you will oversee all aspects of marine and tourism activities, ensuring safe and efficient operations while delivering exceptional experiences for guests.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, plan, and manage all marine activities, including snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, and more.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and guests during all activities, following strict protocols.
  • Coordinate and oversee tourism activities, including island tours and cultural experiences.
  • Hire, train, and lead a team to deliver outstanding service to guests.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Marine Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing activities in a hospitality or tourism setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • In-depth knowledge of marine and tourism activities, including safety regulations.
  • Relevant certifications such as PADI Dive Master, Coxswain Grade 1, and First Aid.
