Job Title: Marine and Tourism Activities Manager

Job Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a stunning location on the Great Barrier Reef.

The successful candidate will oversee marine and tourism activities at our resort, leading a team of professionals and managing resources to maintain high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage all marine activities, including snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, and more.
  • Evaluate and maintain safety protocols for staff and guests during activities.
  • Coordinate and oversee tourism activities, including island tours and cultural experiences.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team to deliver exceptional service to guests.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Marine Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing activities in a hospitality or tourism setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • In-depth knowledge of marine and tourism activities, including safety regulations.
  • Relevant certifications such as PADI Dive Master, Coxswain Grade 1, and First Aid.
