Job Opportunity:

  • We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver top-quality patient care and support in a high-stakes environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid clinical background, a commitment to excellence, and be skilled in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and coordinating care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the administrative functions of the clinics and ensure seamless operations.
  2. Coordinate with stakeholders regarding clinic operations and develop effective strategies for success.
  3. Apply professional nursing principles, procedures, and techniques to provide exceptional patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  4. Utilize clinical expertise and compassion to deliver patient-centered care and make informed decisions in fast-paced settings.
  5. Manage complex cases effectively and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion and patient satisfaction.
  6. Precept and mentor junior staff, including training and educational support, to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  7. Develop rapport with patients and team members through strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.
  8. Perform laboratory procedures, including sample collection, following established guidelines and protocols.
  9. Provide professional routine, urgent, and emergency care, and triage patients accordingly within scope of practice.
  10. Check vital signs, perform EKGs, draw blood, and collect urine samples as required.
  11. Manage clinic documentation, including mail, laboratory, and x-ray reports, and maintain accurate records.
  12. Maintain a clean and safe clinic environment suitable for patient care and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  13. Oversee sterilization processes and utility rooms, ensuring compliance with infection control policies.
  14. Complete organizational compliance education as required by regulatory bodies like the Joint Commission to stay up-to-date with industry standards.

Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and clinical skills, with the ability to guide teams and collaborate effectively.
  • Expertise in clinical practice and a patient-centered approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and empathetic demeanor.

Required Work Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience as a registered/licensed nurse.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience managing and supervising nursing staff.

Qualifications:

  • A medical license to practice nursing in Australia.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current CPR certification.

Physical Demands:

  • This role is primarily indoor/office-based.
  • Sitting and standing for extended periods may be required.
  • Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 lbs may be necessary.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be a U.S., UK, or Australian citizen.
  • You are willing to relocate to Alice Springs, Australia, for the contract duration.
  • You hold a valid passport and are willing to maintain it during your stay.
