About the Role

As an On Road Motor Assessor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of allocated claims. You will establish the cause of damage, determine the scope and cost of repair to insured vehicles, and maintain excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments of insured properties using virtual assessing and/or causation reports provided by our panel suppliers
  • Produce detailed reports to determine cause, coverage, damage, and best repair methods
  • Review scope of works to ensure the most cost-effective and timely method of repairs
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities and third-party repairers
  • Negotiate with repairers to define the scope of work and associated costing
Requirements
  • Panel Beating or Spray-Painting qualifications or equivalent experience is essential
  • Excellent computer skills are required, with training provided as needed
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and ambition to grow with the business
  • Ability to prepare damage repair quotes and estimations
  • Background checks and proof of full working rights in Australia are required
