Senior Hydrogeology Professional

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Hydrogeology Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking routine integrated monitoring programs and field studies, as well as preparing quality factual reports based on collected data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct groundwater, surface water, soils, and air quality sampling while following standard operating procedures and industry best practices.
- Perform site investigations, drilling programs, monitoring bore installations, and hydraulic testing.
- Compile and analyze field and laboratory data for report writing purposes.
- Prepare health and safety documentation for field work.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, specializing in Hydrogeology or a related field.
- Practical experience in hydrogeology with skills in groundwater monitoring and sampling, data analysis, drilling, and report writing.
- Working knowledge of QLD groundwater legislation and policies is highly desirable.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in groundwater data analysis and interpretation would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and remotely for project work.
- A manual driver's license and 4WD experience is highly desirable.
- Australian citizenship/working rights are essential.
