As a casual library assistant, you play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our team during busy periods.

The City of Ryde library service comprises five branches, providing a wide range of services to the community. You will be responsible for maintaining software and equipment, assisting with programmed activities, and ensuring the collection is well-maintained.

You will receive on-the-job training and regular reviews of your performance. This opportunity allows you to gain experience and develop skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Must be available to work at short notice when required
  • Certificate III in Library & Information Services or equivalent
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Covid-19 vaccinated
  • Knowledge of Spydus Library Management System desirable
