**Job Description:**

We are seeking an enthusiastic & friendly library professional to join our passionate library team serving local residents.

This is a casual role with a competitive hourly rate and excellent employee benefits including:

The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, supervisory experience and demonstrated experience in providing circulation and information services in public libraries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality customer service ensuring community members' library needs are effectively addressed
  • Supervise and monitor staff involved in the provision of lending and information services
  • Oversight and prioritization of workflow to ensure effective utilisation of resources

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • TAFE Diploma of Library and Information Services (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated experience in providing circulation and information services in public libraries
  • Ability to work evening and weekend shifts
