Job Description

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to maintain their independence and quality of life.

You will be responsible for providing domestic assistance, including meal preparation and household chores, as well as supporting clients with personal care needs such as showering, grooming, and mobility assistance. Your role will also involve providing social support and transportation services as required.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that client needs are met and that all aspects of care are delivered with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domestic assistance to clients in their homes
  • Support clients with personal care needs
  • Provide social support and transportation services as required
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
  • Ensure that client rights, cultural, spiritual, and other individual needs are incorporated in all aspects of care and daily living

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III/IV or equivalent in Individual Support (Aged or Disability) or equivalent (or currently studying a Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certifications or willingness to obtain
  • A valid Victorian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Strong understanding of community care and commitment to delivering high standards for clients and families
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
