Job Opportunity: Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in various settings.

About the Role:
  • This position involves providing personal care and assistance to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and participation in daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality support services to clients, including personal care and daily living tasks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, communicating effectively and empathetically.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support and care for clients.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Disability Support Worker, preferably working with adults and children with high intensity support needs.
  • Strong understanding of disability support principles and practices, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Current certifications and clearances, including NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, First Aid/CPR, Working with Children Check, and car license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cert III Individual Supports or equivalent, with a strong focus on disability support and client-centered practice.
  • Current medication administration certification and/or manual handling certification, with evidence of continuing education and training.
