About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Dispatch Coordinator to join our Bunnings Supply Chain & Logistics team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day logistics activities for our inbound and outbound transport programs, ensuring timely deliveries to customers and efficient allocation of delivery runs for drivers.

This role will be based at our Burnley Support Office, with occasional work at our Laverton North Fulfillment Centre. Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends is required, with shift times spread across 6am-8pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals
  • Route and allocate delivery runs for drivers, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Provide track and trace information to customers, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Provide customer service updates to customers, stores, and delivery drivers, resolving any issues that may arise
  • Manage and monitor fatigue and speed events, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a transport allocator/scheduler role, or a willingness to learn and develop in this area
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Sound computer skills, with experience in logistics software and systems
