Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the distribution operation to maximize efficiency and meet ANZ distribution targets while exceeding customer expectations.
  • Regularly review distribution KPI reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans.
  • Investigate and address customer complaints, ensuring effective control measures.
  • Maintain delivery capability for distribution, aiming for >90% on-time performance.
  • Coordinate logistics actions related to transportation and inventory management.
  • Process finished goods cycle counts in our enterprise resource planning system.
  • Conduct regular audits on distribution and transportation providers.
  • Foster excellent customer service through effective communication with distribution, customer service teams, and commercial colleagues.
  • Lead monthly continuous improvement meetings with customer service and distribution teams.
  • Monitor transportation costs and adherence to rate cards.
  • Track transportation provider KPIs, including delivery in full and on time, complaint follow-up, and claims/compensation.
  • Collaborate with supply planning to optimize truck loads from distribution and manufacturing facilities.
  • Maximize container utilization for exports to New Zealand across all business units.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for export queries and coordination.
  • Ensure enterprise resource planning system fluency for customer service, logistics, and planning/supply requirements.
  • Identify and execute logistics-related cost-saving and continuous improvement projects.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with sales staff and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Become familiar with our company processes in procurement, IT support, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in logistics coordination.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environment practices.
  • Proven ability to maintain high customer service standards.
  • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively with sales staff, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel frequently between the manufacturing facility and the distribution center.
