Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Generalist to join our team in a permanent, site-based role. This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with site leaders and contribute to the success of our client's large-scale resources operation.

The successful candidate will cover the full HR spectrum, including recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning, and engagement. This is a fast-paced mining environment that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders.

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for operational and professional roles
  • Provide advice on employee and industrial relations matters, ensuring compliance with Australian workplace legislation and IR frameworks
  • Partner with managers to deliver workforce strategies aligned with operational goals
  • Support performance management, investigations, and case management
  • Maintain HR reporting and metrics to support business decisions
  • Drive engagement and retention through people-focused initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline (Diploma minimum)
  • Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within mining, construction, or heavy industry
  • Strong understanding of Australian workplace legislation and IR frameworks
  • Experience advising leaders on HR practices and employee relations
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a site-based environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
