CELOTTI WORKFORCE is a specialist provider of temporary and permanent blue and white collar staff to the building, infrastructure and resources sectors across Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Specialist to join our client's large-scale resources operation in Darwin on a permanent basis.

About This Role:
  • This site-based position offers a 9-day fortnight roster with FIFO travel from Darwin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for operational and professional roles, providing advice on employee and industrial relations matters, partnering with managers to deliver workforce strategies aligned with operational goals, supporting performance management, investigations, and case management, and maintaining HR reporting and metrics to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process for operational and professional roles.
  • Employee Relations Advice: Provide expert guidance on employee and industrial relations matters to ensure compliance with Fair Work and enterprise agreements.
  • Workforce Strategy: Collaborate with managers to develop and implement workforce strategies that align with operational objectives.
  • Performance Management: Support the development and implementation of performance management plans, investigations, and case management processes.
  • HR Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely HR reporting and metrics to inform business decisions.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Hold a minimum Diploma in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Demonstrate proven experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within mining, construction, or heavy industry.
  • Australian Workplace Legislation: Possess a strong understanding of Australian workplace legislation and IR frameworks.
  • Leadership Advisement: Showcase experience advising leaders on HR practices and employee relations.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exemplify excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust.
