Community Outreach Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Outreach Manager to lead our team in delivering quality case management services to excluded groups in Northern and Western Sydney.

The role involves developing a community engagement strategy, recruiting and supervising a team of case managers and team leaders, and ensuring program reporting requirements are met.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in managing teams and working with target communities. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a community engagement strategy that promotes social inclusion and addresses the needs of vulnerable populations.

In this role, you will work closely with the team to deliver high-quality case management services, develop partnerships with community organizations, and ensure the effective use of resources.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in case management or a related field
  • Experience working with target communities, including CALD, LGBTQIA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

You will also need to have:

  • Double vaccination against COVID-19 or a valid medical exemption
  • Ability to conduct a police check
