Key Position Tasks:  

We are seeking an Operations Team Leader to provide day-to-day leadership of the Operations Team across all training locations, ensuring the smooth delivery of training programs. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Planning and coordinating training logistics, including scheduling, procurement, and preparation of training materials and resources
  • Maintaining accurate program and scheduling information in the CRM and Student Management System (VETtrak)
  • Providing timely and professional advice to students, client and stakeholders training logistical and administrative matters
  • Operational administration including processing paperwork and data updates
  • Driving continuous improvement of MBTI operational systems, processes, and policies to support the Corporate Plan and training productivity targets
  • Overseeing allocation of workloads, resources, and responsibilities within the Operations Team
  • Internal reporting and data management

Key Skills, Attributes and Experience:

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent qualification, desirable
  • Experience in an administrative or clerical role, ideally within a training or education environment
  • Experience managing frontline operations in a service environment, ideally within a training or education environment
  • Knowledge of the VET sector
  • Familiarity with Student Management Systems (SMS)
  • Demonstrated experience leading and supporting a team to achieve operational outcomes
  • Experience leveraging systems to improve operational performance, particularly in task management
  • Experience working cross functionally to align outputs to strategy or complete project work
