About the role:

  • As a key member of our Strategic Solutions Team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and tailored solutions for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and successful project outcomes through proactive engagement and responsiveness.
  • You will assist key accounts in achieving their objectives by identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, while ensuring IPD's continued value in their operations and project success.
  • Collaborate closely with the Strategic Solutions Team on pre-sales activities, including crafting innovative solution designs, assisting in developing proposals, pursuing project opportunities, and delivering compelling technical presentations.
  • Actively communicate client challenges and inquiries to internal teams, ensuring timely responses and effective follow-up to resolve issues and enhance overall client experience.
  • Conduct engaging training courses for both customers and staff to foster knowledge sharing, and assist in the development of marketing materials that clearly identify client needs and align them with our products and services.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for junior team members, sharing insights and best practices to enhance team capabilities, while also supporting national sales efforts with your technical expertise to drive solution adoption and facilitate market growth.

About you

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial automation, with a focus on PLC, SCADA, and Historian. Exposure to industrial communications, RTUs, and IIoT will be highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in GE Vernova software and Emerson PAC systems is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in site-based architectures, system deployments, commissioning, and technical support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
  • You must have a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a desire to know how things work.
