About the Role

Our positive behaviour support services aim to make inclusion possible for all Australians. We are seeking Behaviour Support Practitioners and Clinical Supervisors to join our team in various locations across the country.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred positive behaviour support to participants in their communities, ensuring a high level of service quality and participant satisfaction.
  • Develop functional, strengths-based, and responsive behaviour support plans that cater to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with families, support networks, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Contribute to our values-based and evidence-informed practice by maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills in the field.
  • For Clinical Supervisors, mentor and support colleagues, champion clinical excellence, promote evidence-based practices, facilitate learning, build team capability, and model the Clinical Model.
Qualifications
  • To work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will require a relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Masters, or Graduate Diploma) and relevant registration, including:
  • Occupational Therapist – degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration.
  • Speech Pathologist – degree in Speech Pathology and SPA registration.
  • Social Worker – degree in Social Work and AASW membership.
  • Mental Health Nurse – degree in Nursing and AHPRA registration.
  • Pyschology, Psychological/Social Science, or related field.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is required.
  • You should have a positive and flexible approach to work, strong communication skills, and be a team player.
  • A commitment to personal and professional growth is essential, as well as a valid Australian drivers license and current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check.
