Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis at Marvel Loch in Southern Cross. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage electrical installations associated with fixed plant assets within a mining facility.

About the Role:

You will work collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality mechanical services aligned with our safety standards and operational objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Completing all required safety documentation before commencing works including G2G, JHA/SWP/SWMS and permit to work.
  • Adhering to safety rules and procedures when working with electricity including wearing protective PPE required for performing the works safely.
  • Conducting machine pre-starts and checks on equipment and tools to ensure they are safe to use.
  • Performing maintenance works on high-voltage electrical systems and equipment.
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing high-voltage electrical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical problems.
  • Performing measurements and preparing technical documentation.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Australia recognised Electrical trade qualification.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • WA Electrical Licence.
  • High Voltage Switching certificate.
  • Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Current Working at Heights certification.
  • Current Confined Space Entry Training.
  • Australian High Risk Work License in Forklift and EWP (desirable).
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar capacity in the mining/construction industry.
  • Experience as a High Voltage Electrician in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
